Networking Key Services (NKS)
NKS are based in Scotland and their mission is to alleviate deprivation and isolation experienced by women and their families living in Edinburgh.
They do this by promoting positive health and well-being by supporting individuals access services that may be beneficial to them.

I work in NKS, Networking Key Services, based in Edinburgh. We are doing a project on smart meter, involving all the South Asian community.
In this event I figured out that there is a translator is also there. Some people are from the India, some people from the Bangladesh, some are from the Pakistan, so this event was very helpful to those people whose first language is not English.
What I have learnt from it is that unknowingly, we spend lot of energy. When you put smart meters in your home, you know how much you are spending, and you can save energy and money also. Honestly, I don't know about the smart meter, initially, but this event was a really help today, because how does it work and how it will be benefit, rather than using the traditional meter. I'm reaping the benefits.
Honestly, I think that this is fantastic. Honestly, I love it. Climate change is a very big issue nowadays, and I feel that everybody should go to such events, and, you know, get some awareness, some information, and knowledge, so that you save it for ourself, and for the next generation.
